Location: Corbières region, near the city of Carcassone in South of France
Terroir: Selected plots in the Aude lying principally on limestone/clay bases with good water retention.
Age of the vines: 12 to 15 years Grape varieties: 100% Merlot
Vinification: Machine harvest followed by a gentle crush; fermentation for 15 days followed by malo-lactic; gentle filtration to retain primary aromas.

Type of ageing: In cements vats.
Spicy, blackberry, mulberry, bramble bouquet. Full-bodied, supple and harmonious palate allied to ripe tannins.
Accompanies white meats, poultry and roasts.
Ageing potential: 3-5 years but will drink well soon after bottling.
