Daniel Le Brun’s family have been making champagne for 12 generations, and when Daniel and his wife Adele established No. 1 Family Estate in 1999, they committed themselves to producing methode traditionelle utilizing the same processes that his family had perfected in France. It is the only Marlborough winery specializing in the production of methode traditionelle, and their wines range from the award-winning No. 1 Cuvee, and No. 8 Cuvee, which represents good luck in Chinese numerology, to Shooting Star, a refreshing and zesty sparkling sauvignon blanc.
